Itinerary: Lets practice our Avalanche Rescue skills at Rutherford School Yard (Rue-Marie Anne Gaboury). Topics we will cover are Transceiver locating, probing, shovelling techniques. Afterward we can meet at the Irish Pub to chat about trip planning.
Prerequisites / Courses Required: All are welcome. Please remember to Renew your Membership. This outing is a perk of the club hosted by Volunteers.
Required items to bring: Avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, headlamp. This is an all weather event, dress warm, we are in winter and will be outside for 2 hours.
As per club guidelines, participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and transportation.
