Itinerary:

Join us for rope rescue skills practice and refresher Wednesday, April 20. We hope to never need them. But if we do, regular practice can help ensure those skills are accessible and can be done efficiently.

Prerequisites / Courses Required:

Note - this is intended to be a refresher/practice session only, and not an introductory lesson or theory session for anyone new to the skills.

If you are new to rock/rope rescue skills and are interested in learning them that is great! They are important skills. Reach out to climbing@gmmc.ca for information about courses and learning resources.

Required items to bring:

-climbing harness

-rock rescue gear (cordalette, caribiners, belay device, pulleys if you have them, etc.)

As per club guidelines, participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation.
