Difficulty Rating: Beginner/Intermediate

Come out to Shakakan to shake out the cobwebs and get the feel for rock this summer. This is an easier crag but if there are some experienced climbers who would like to join, the extra help in fixing top ropes would be appreciated. Fingers crossed this year's shift Workers Shakakan trip isn't flooded out, but if so, we could always hike little Russia again.

Plan to leave Edmonton around 7am, meet at Shakakan around 1030am, climb for the day and then head back.

Prerequisites Required: Need to be able to safely top rope belay. If I haven't met you, please contact me with the gym you have your belay check with.

Required items to bring: Climbing Harness, Helmet, Water, Snacks, and any other climbing gear you wish to bring. There is an easy (5.3) trad route if anyone has gear and wishes to try out some placements

As per club guidelines, participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and transportation.
