Itinerary: Let's get lost in the beauty of this Quartzite crag with both sports and trad routes. This is a one day trip but there may be discussion for Sunday plans depending on number of participants and ability levels.
Saturday, Oct 2nd: We'll be meeting at the dirt parking lot at 9:00am before heading down the trail to the crag.
Directions: Drive south from Jasper on Highway 93 for approximately 7km. Turn west onto Highway 93A and follow this for around 25km. You will pass the turn-off for Edith Cavell. Approximately 200m from Leech Lake there is a small dirt parking lot.
Sunday, Oct 3rd: TBD
Prerequisites / Courses Required: Must be able to TR and/or lead belay.
Required items to bring: Harness, rock climbing shoes, helmet, chalk bag, lots of stoke. Participants wanting to climb any of the trad routes must bring their own gear and know how to climb safely in this style.
As per club guidelines, participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and transportation.
Health & Wellness Form: This document is to be completed by trip participants & trip coordinators / leaders the day of travel to an event as well as every morning of the event.
