Carry Your Spray

In the May 2009 issue of our newsletter Rick Checkland cites a study on the effectiveness of bear deterrent spray in the Journal of Wildlife Management. The study presents a convincing case for carrying bear spray.  Rick notes the study's authors use the term "brown bears" to refer to grizzlies.
